Animal Rights Artist Chantal Poulin Durocher - 'We Are The Same'

Artists & Activists for Animal Rights is pleased to welcome Chantal Poulin Durocher's artwork titled "We Are The Same" to their animal rights gallery. Chantal is an artist who grew up in and around Montréal, Québec, Canada. Dissatisfied with the contemporary art scene, she pursued classical art training at the Mission Renaissance Fine Art Institute, focusing on drawing and classical painting.

Over the years, Chantal Poulin Durocher has explored various artistic styles, including impressionist landscapes and expressionist still lifes. In the new millennium, she transitioned from realism to total abstraction while incorporating her Buddhist convictions into her art. In 2009, she moved to Central America, where she currently resides in Panama with her husband and nine rescued dogs.

Chantal Poulin Durocher's artwork has been showcased in solo exhibitions, including a show at Toronto's Distillery District's Thompson-Landry Gallery, which represents her in the city. Her deep love and compassion for sentient beings influence her work, and she strives to bring respect for all life into her art and everyday life.
