Austin, TX – Roots Rock and Alternative Country artist Danny Hamilton has been selected to appear on The Compassion Project: Songs for Animal, Human, and Earth Justice, a powerful and timely compilation album set for release on September 5 by Artists & Activists Records. Hamilton contributes two impactful tracks to the project: “Until We All Rise” and “It’s What You Want.”
“Until We All Rise” is a searing call for collective action in the face of social injustice, capturing moments of lived struggle and the urgent need for empathy and reform. “It’s What You Want” turns the lens toward animal rights, asking listeners to confront the realities of factory farming and question the choices we make as individuals and as a society. Both songs embody the core message of the album — that compassion, in all its forms, must guide us forward.
About Danny Hamilton Danny Hamilton is a rising force in the realms of Roots Rock, Blues Rock, and Alternative Country. Twice nominated for “Male Singer-Songwriter of the Year” and recognized by Music Connection Magazine’s HOT 100, Hamilton’s music combines emotional grit with sharp social commentary. He’s a two-time Los Angeles Music Video Award winner (2020, 2022) and has performed at major festivals including South by Southwest and the Inkslinger’s Ball at Anaheim Stadium.
His 2020 full-length album Here All Along earned widespread acclaim, and he’s currently at work on his upcoming release The Knocking, due in early 2025. Danny has shared stages with artists like The Marshall Tucker Band, Cody Canada, Paul Thorn, and BJ Barham.
