Austin, TX – Texas-based rock band EDGE has been selected to appear on The Compassion Project: Songs for Animal, Human, and Earth Justice, a bold and timely compilation album set for release on September 5 by Artists & Activists Records. Their featured track, “START ALL OVER,” is a powerful anthem that confronts injustice, denial, and societal disconnection in an urgent call to reclaim truth and rebuild a better world.

Written and performed by EDGE members Nolan J. Vander Haagen (vocals/guitar), Alex Serrano (drums), Carl Beatty (bass guitar), and Tommy Vanos (guitar), “START ALL OVER” was crafted as a response to the rising disillusionment among today’s youth. The song asks hard questions: What kind of world are we leaving behind? Is this the life we promised future generations? EDGE uses driving rock energy to deliver a rallying cry for justice, awareness, and change.

About EDGE Formed in 1996 in Pearland, Texas, EDGE has spent decades evolving a dynamic sound rooted in raw emotion, powerful guitar work, and socially conscious themes. The band has shared the stage with acts like Hoobastank, Fuel, Flyleaf, and Blue October, and has released five studio albums, including their most recent, Latency Vol. I (2024). Their music has been featured in video games and films, and their track “Metamorphosis” appeared in the motion picture Flashes.
