Austin, TX – UK-based alt-pop duo hopdot has been selected to appear on The Compassion Project: Songs for Animal, Human, and Earth Justice, a powerful and timely compilation album set for release on September 5 by Artists & Activists Records. hopdot is an independent musical duo from the North East of the United Kingdom, consisting of vocalist Amy Hopper and composer/keyboardist David Hopper. Initially collaborating with lyricist Philip Swallow in pursuit of traditional publishing routes, the Hoppers ultimately decided to produce and release music on their own terms. Influenced by The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and the sounds of thoughtful alt-pop, hopdot crafts emotionally resonant songs that seek to uplift and inspire.
