Austin, TX – Australian recording project Swift Timmy contributes two compelling tracks to The Compassion Project: Songs for Animal, Human, and Earth Justice, the upcoming compilation album from Artists & Activists Records, set for release on September 5. Their songs, “Trees” and “If You Wait Too Long,” offer poignant reflections on environmental destruction, human responsibility, and the urgent need to act before it’s too late.
Written by Tim Channon and performed with contributions from family and friends, “Trees” captures the awe of living in harmony with nature and the sorrow of watching it disappear. With subtle melodies and gentle instrumentation, the song delivers an emotional message about environmental loss and the fading possibility of restoration. “If You Wait Too Long” takes a sharper tone, critiquing the pursuit of profit at the expense of the Earth and warning against the false hope that future solutions can undo irreversible harm. Together, the songs serve as both elegy and alarm — urging listeners to protect what remains.
